On Saturday, August 23 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Verona’s own Marching Maroon and White will run their annual car wash in the Verona High School driveway.
Verona’s award-winning marching band starts their annual band camp rehearsal schedule on Saturday by raising funds for the band at their annual car wash. Donations will get the public a hand-done car wash by the enthusiastic band members themselves. The suggested donation is $5, but all donations are welcome.
Coffee and bagels will also be available for sale in the morning and The Town Scoope ice cream truck will be on site from noon to 2 p.m.
The Verona High School Marching Maroon and White is under the direction of Erik Lynch.
