After Hurricane Sandy hit Verona, the Board of Education juggled the public schools’ calendar to provide for a snow day. Thanks to a mild winter, we didn’t need it, so now the BOE is giving it back: Verona’s public schools will be closed on Friday, May 24.
Here’s hoping it’s good weather that day.
