School Facilities Needs On BOE Agenda

The central building at HBW is one of Verona’s oldest public school buildings still in use.
Some of Verona’s public school buildings are more than 80 years old, and despite regular maintenance, they need more TLC. Just what that is, and how much that might cost you can learn tonight at the Board of Education meeting.

The presentation will be made by the school district’s facilities director, Paul McDevitt. The meeting, which is held in the Verona High School media center, begins at 8 p.m.

  1. I guess this is going to be to prepare the public for the new Referendum they are considering proposing putting to a vote in November of next year.
