The Verona High School Spotlight Players will perform “12 Angry Jurors” on November 15, 16 and 17. The production will be a modern interpretation of the Reginald Rose classic, “12 Angry Men.”
The cast includes Pinar Oguz, Natalie De Rosa, Kelsey Mitchell, Jill Lanese, Tabitha Chasse, Gabe Riccitelli, Kelsey Dougherty, Emma Maueser, Isaac Jo, Alex Karpinski, Noelle Park, Izzie Schechter, Rachel Curcio, Jessica Karpinski, Carina Mitchell and Anthony Giuliano.
Says VHS teacher Dana Ahmuty, “We have been plagued by illness, concussions, hurricanes, nor’easters and power outages. But the Spotlight Players have persevered throughout, living proof of the actor’s code that ‘the show must go on’.” The show is directed by another VHS teacher, Fran Young.
The show will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday–November 15, 16 and 17–in the Verona High School auditorium. Tickets can be purchased at the door and will be $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. All student tickets will be $5 on November 15.
