The first annual Battle of the Badges charity softball tournament is scheduled for this Sunday at Veteran’s Field on Linn Drive in Verona.
This year’s event will feature the Cedar Grove Police Department against the Cedar Grove Fire Department and the Verona Police Department against the Verona Fire Department. The winners of each game will face each other for a championship trophy. Cedar Grove teams are scheduled to take the field at 2:30 p.m. and Verona teams at approximately 4 p.m.
All proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Come enjoy a day of fun for a great cause!
