Mr. Frank DeRosa, 95, died on September 19, 2012 in Glen Ridge.

Graveside services will be held in the Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn on Saturday at 10 a.m. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Born in Brooklyn, Mr. DeRosa moved to Verona 13 years ago. A sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945, he served in New Guinea and the Southern Philippines and received three Bronze Stars.

He worked as an upholsterer and was formerly a member of the Royal Order of Moose and the Knights of Columbus in Brooklyn.

He is the husband of the late Lucille DeRosa, the father of Carole DeRosa and Robert DeRosa and the grandfather of Kimberley and Natalie DeRosa.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
