We’ve unfortunately just learned that the owner of the Pilgrim Diner, Nicholas E. Diakos, passed away just before Christmas and the service was earlier today. You can drop a note of condolences at the diner or, if you are so inclined, make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Program, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
