WINGS, a Verona-based support group for women affected by cancer, has set a rich list of programming for this fall and winter.

On Tuesday, October 25, WINGS (which stands for Women Inspiring Nurturing Giving Strength & Support) will be holding a drumming circle. Lead by Sharon Silverstein of Living at Peace, the drumming circle becomes a jumping off point for a variety of facilitated activities in listening and cooperation. No musical experience is necessary. The program will be held at the Verona Community Center, 880 Bloomfield Avenue, from 7 to 9 p.m., and all WINGS workshops are free of charge.

Subsequent programs include “Healing Kitchen” on Tuesday, November 29; “Chair Yoga” on Tuesday, January 17; and “Dance/Movement & Healing” on Tuesday, February 28.

You can register for all WINGS programs by phone at 973-400-9529 or by e-mail.
