Big Band Concert At Eagle Rock

The Garden State Concert Band, led by Dominic Ferrara, will perform a variety of hits from the Big Band era next Thursday, August 11, at Eagle Rock Reservation. This is one of Essex County’s free summer concerts, and it will feature songs by Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Stan Kenton. The concert will be held at the gazebo just off Eagle Rock Avenue, starting at 7:30 p.m.  For more information, call the Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs at 973‑239-2485.
