Chicago and West Side Story aren’t playing on Broadway now, but you can hear music from these and many other shows tonight at Verona’s last concert in the center of town. Joey and Doreen Arminio are taking a break from their new Verona Yoga studio for the evening to bring us their band’s new “Broadway Extravaganza” show. You need to bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and cool thoughts to combat the heat. The music starts at 7 p.m.
The final two concerts of the summer concert will take place at Verona Pool and they are for residents only: There will be a Beach Boys tribute band on July 27 and a group called Alotta Colada on August 31. You’ll recognize many of the faces on stage for that one.
