The Sony Pictures movie written by former Veronan Arlene Gibbs brought in another $7.5 million in box office sales this past weekend, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com, making its total gross since its release just a shade under $26 million. And “Jumping The Broom” had already done something that blockbuster “Thor” hasn’t: Covered its production costs. “Jumping The Broom” had a budget of just $6.6 million. It cost Paramount $150 million to bring the god of thunder to the big screen.
