Mr. Richard J. Collins, 80, died on March 30, 2011 in Hudson, Fla. Services will be in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, on Thursday, April 7 at 10 a.m. Visiting on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
A Verona native, Mr. Collins was a systems analyst for the Prudential Insurance Company in Newark for 35 years and a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He is the husband of Joan M. Collins and the brother of John J. Collins, William D. Collins and the late Frank Collins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
