Looking for a way to make some magic with all of this “winter” we are experiencing? Next Wednesday, February 16, the Geyer Family Center YMCA is having a Winter Magic Science Workshop. The activities will include making your own snow, making ice cream, experimenting with magic sand and more. The class is for children ages 5-9 and runs from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The cost for this magical event is $15 per child for members and $20 per child for non- members. And if you are wondering, youth memberships at the YMCA Park Street facility transfer over for these types of events.
