This Thursday, January 27, H.B. Whitehorne Middle School is inviting parents to view a movie about cyberbullying, “Sticks & Stones”. The parent workshop will be hosted by Andrew Yeager, a Bergen County school psychologist who developed the movie with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s office.

HBW’s administration, guidance department, and social worker, Hebe Schafer, will be in attendance as well, and they will be looking for parents to voice their opinion about whether the school should use the movie, which is blunt, as a teaching tool at the 8th-grade level.

The program begins at 7 p.m. in the HBW auditorium. The movie’s trailer is below.
