Laura Berman Fortgang is returning to musical theater after a 17-year, three-child hiatus and you can catch her performances this week and next. She’s playing the role of Betty in “The Great American Trailer Park Musical” at the Studio Players in Montclair. (That’s Laura in the neon green capris above). Verona’s Judi Liebert is the stage manager for the show.
The show will be performed Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. on January 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, and 22, and on Sunday, January 16 at 3 p.m. Tickets are just $22 for adults and $19 for students and seniors. The Studio Players is the theater tucked in at 14 Alvin Place, next to the A&P.
Bill O’Brien, in the tropical shirt is also from Verona!
Come see this outrageously fun show. Not great for kids. Adult language and situations.
The director, Amy Fox, is also from Verona. She’s the photographer too.
Wow. That’s quite a lot of creative energy from Verona. And there’s not even a trailer park here.
