This Sunday, the First Congregational Church of Verona will have a Christmas multimedia presentation at its 10 a.m. service. The. Rev. Dr. Barbara Ewton, the church’s interim pastor, explained many of the traditions that have come to surround Christmas in a recent sermon. You can read her remarks here.
First Congregational’s Christmas Eve service will be held at 5 p.m. The church is located, appropriately enough, on Church Street just off Bloomfield Avenue and up from the Rescue Squad station house.
