The VPC's note cards depict new scenes of Verona Park by four Verona artists: “Four Fishermen, Spring” by Allen Taylor; “Children’s Garden Visitor, Summer” by Ann Taylor; “Autumn at the Dam” by Hamilton Carson; and “Winter Light, Verona” by Patricia Buchanan.

The Verona Park Conservancy has a new collection of its popular note cards.  The Conservancy, a volunteer group that maintains Verona Park, has produced the four seasons of Verona Park in a set of cards reproducing the work of four Verona artists.

The collection includes, “Four Fishermen, Spring” by Allen Taylor; “Children’s Garden Visitor, Summer” by Ann Taylor; “Autumn at the Dam” by Hamilton Carson; and “Winter Light, Verona” by Patricia Buchanan.

The sets of cards include two copies of each painting for a total of eight cards, with envelopes, at $10. They are available at Terry’s Drugs, PIP Printing and Main Street Cottage, or by calling (973) 239-6074. Proceeds from the sale of the cards support the VPC’s park maintenance and beautification projects. The Conservancy regular meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the third Thursday, each month at the Park Boathouse and all meetings are open to the public. The next VPC meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 18. For information call (973) 239-2568.
