The Essex County Environmental Center in Roseland is revving up its “Little Explorers” program for fall. “Little Explorers” is a child-caregiver class that uses stories, walks and crafts to help kids develop an awareness of nature. A different subject is covered in each class, and you do not need to attend them all.

Children ages 3½ to 5 will meet on Tuesdays from Oct. 5 to Nov. 16 at 1:30 p.m.

Each class costs $6 per child, although additional material fees may apply. Space is limited and advance registration and payment is required. For information, call 973-228-8776.
