Drug Collection Day A Success

The Verona Police Department collected 50 pounds of expired, unused and unwanted medicines on Saturday, September 25 as part of Operation Take Back New Jersey. That’s Officer Joel Martin above, Verona’s liaison to the program, with some of what was collected. Operation Take Back New Jersey was created to keep prescription medicines out of the wrong hands and make sure they are disposed of in an environmentally sound way.
