The 4-H Club is holding a program on wind energy for families with children ages 8 and up on Tuesday, July 20, at 4 p.m. Kids will learn about the wind and how it can be turned into electricity while they build and test a wind-powered device. The class, which costs $10 per family, takes place at the Essex County Environmental Center in Roseland and advance registration is required. For information, call 973-353-1338.
