Obituaries: Jean P. Motsch

Mrs. Jean P. Motsch died on Saturday May 15, 2010 in the St. Francis Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton. She was 71.

Born in New Bedford, Mass., Mrs. Motsch lived in Verona for 23 years prior to moving to Manahawkin 15 years ago.

She was a member of the Carmelites through St. Mary’s Church in Manahawkin and served as a Eucharistic Minister at the Manahawkin Rehabilitation Nursing Home. While in Verona, she was active in Our Lady of the Lake Church.

Mrs. Motsch is the wife of Raymond V. Motsch, Sr., the mother of Karen Motsch, Raymond Motsch, Jr., Roland Motsch and his wife Donna, Mark Motsch and his wife Marlene, the sister of Roland Turner and the grandmother of Kara, Larissa, Mark, Jr. and Matthew.

Private services and interment were held through the Prout Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
