The pre-kindergarten workshops that were to have been held at all Verona public elementary schools on Saturday, February 6 from 10-11 a.m. have been canceled because of the expected heavy snow. No word yet on when or if tomorrow’s planned session is going to be rescheduled. The schools had planned to hold the subsequent orientation sessions for all new kindergarten students on March 6, April 10 and May 8.
The Laning Scholastic Book Fair has also been canceled. Instead, the Book Fair schedule will be held on Monday, February 8 from 2:45 to 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 9, again from 2:45 to 7:00 p.m.
