The fashion classes at Verona High School and the VHS Environmental Club are collecting gently used clothes and accessories this month for a pop-up thrift shop that will be held in February. The event aims to promote sustainable
fashion choices.
To stock the shop, the students are seeking donations of gently used and laundered clothing, like graphic tees, jackets and coats, blazers and denim, as well as jewelry. There is a collection bin in the main lobby of the high school. “We encourage community members, parents, and students to declutter their closets and contribute to this eco-friendly initiative,” the student organizers say.
The thrift shop will be held in the VHS Learning Commons on Wednesday and Thursday, February 14 and 15, before school, at lunch and after school.
Hi, where do we drop off clothing??
As it says in the story, there is a collection bin in the main lobby at VHS.
This is wonderful! I graduated VHS in 1982. We didn’t have a Fashion class beck then, unfortunately. Keep up the great work VHS, wish you all the best in this endeavor.
