The Verona High School girls track & field team won the SEC Liberty Conference Championship yesterday at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field Complex in Staten Island. Competing in a field of 14 teams, the VHS girls scored in every event, with many girls recording a personal best. The girls took first, second and third places In both the 800 meter and pole vault.
On the boys side, Ian Zalewski finished first in the 800m, 1600m and 3200m, while Michael Siclari took first in pole vault.
