Join Verona BSA Troop 2 for an all-you-can-eat Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 18, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 10 Fairview Ave., Verona.
For the $8 admission, diners can feast on unlimited pancakes with the usual fixings, plus sausage, coffee, tea, orange juice and apple juice. Children under 7 are free. All proceeds from the Pancake Breakfast go to support Troop 2, which serves youth in Verona in grades 5 through 12.
Chartered in 1931, Troop 2 is known for its continued service to Verona. This year alone, Troop 2 scouts constructed a footbridge on the walking trail behind F.N. Brown Elementary School and will soon be constructing picnic tables for the Community Garden adjoining H.B. Whitehorne Middle School.
