The clergy leaders of five Verona houses of worship, and one in West Orange, will continue a long-standing tradition in town by hosting an Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 20, at 5 p.m. The service will be held at B’nai Shalom West Orange located at 300 Pleasant Valley Way (parking entrance on Woodland Avenue).

The service will include scripture readings from Islamic, Jewish and Christian traditions, as well as music related to Thanksgiving. Mayor Alex Roman will also be sharing a few words. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable or toiletry item to be donated to a local pantry.

For further information, contact any of the clergy leaders at the participating houses of worship: B’nai Shalom West Orange, Calvary Lutheran, Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, First Presbyterian Church of Verona, Islamic Center of Verona and Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church.
