Mrs. Carol Johnscher passed on Friday, February 25, 2022 in Livingston, NJ. She was 82 years old.
Carol was born on September 27, 1939 in Wallington, N.J. to Stanley and Carrie Bogdanski. She graduated from Wallington High School in 1957 where she was known by her nickname “Buggsie.”
On October 1, 1960, Carol married Herb Johnscher. They were married for 55 years. She was a devoted homemaker and known to waitress at her father’s restaurant, Stan’s Hut, on Paterson Avenue in Wallington. She lived in Wallington until moving to Verona in October 2020 to be close to her daughter Brenda.
Carol had a passion for shopping and baking. She also enjoyed trips to Florida, Las Vegas, and Atlantic City.
Carol was predeceased by her husband Herbert R. Johnscher; her parents, Stanley and Carrie Bogdanski; and her brother, Vincent Bogdansky.
She is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Jeffery and Lori Johnscher, Brenda and Michael Cariani, and her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan, and Brandon.
At Carol’s request, a private funeral service will be held.
