WINGS (Women Inspiring Nurturing Giving Strength & Support) should have celebrated 10 years of helping women with cancer in 2020, but the pandemic had other plans. So after rescheduling three times, WINGS has now set its “10th plus two” anniversary gala for Friday, March 25, from 7 to 11 p.m.

The gala will honor three people. The first is Lynn Ferrer, a founding board member of WINGS and, until recently, the holistic nurse at the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, formerly known as St.Barnabas. WINGS is also recognizing Maureen and John Milmoe, who have been raising money for the group through a golf outing for many years.

The event will be held at Ravello, 138 Eagle Rock Avenue in East Hanover, just off Route 280. Tickets are $85 per person, and you can buy your tickets here.

WINGS offers educational programs in the healing arts and group support to help women regain physical, emotional, and spiritual health after a cancer diagnosis. You can learn more about its programming here.
