After the successful book group on “White Fragility,” Holy Spirit Verona will host another group discussion on race using “So You Want to Talk About Race” by Ijeoma Oluo.

The program begins on Tuesday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. All other sessions will be at 7 p.m. every other Tuesday through June 22. If you would like to participate, email Father Jerry Racioppi at [email protected]

“In the fall we had 14 participants in our discussion group with a wonderful mix of parishioners and folks from within the wider Verona community,” Father Jerry says. “The sharing was genuine and honest, and much was learned. I am hoping this group will prove equality enlightening. The work of dismantling racism and white supremacy is ongoing and requires much inner work and self reflection.”
