There is always great wrestling to watch when Verona High School and Nutley meet on the mats. Tonight, Friday, March 26, won’t be any different, but the way you watch it will: Because of the pandemic, the Verona-Nutley match will be live-streamed.
The cost is $10 per device, and 43% of that will go to The Takedown Club, the parent organization for VHS wrestling. The Takedown Club pays for senior scholarships, new mats and additional coaches.
The JV match starts at 5 p.m. and the varsity goes on at 6 p.m. The payment and viewing gateway will be live 45 minutes before the start of the action.
