It’s not just the weather that’s in a deep freeze this weekend: The Verona real estate market has only three new listings and one open houses. That’s the lowest activity in many weeks.

Verona has been a popular destination for home buyers in the past year, which has often left real estate agents scrambling for inventory. The activity has been very good news for sellers as the the average sold price town-wide rose to $490,000 for 2020, up from $468,000 for 2019. Downward price adjustments have been rare during the boom, and there are none this weekend.

Here’s what’s happening this weekend, from lowest priced to highest in each category:

NEW LISTINGS
349 Bloomfield Avenue #87: 1 bed, 1 bath condo. Second-floor unit, updated kitchen & bath. For sale by owner. $210,000.

29 Newman Avenue: 3 beds, 1 1/2 baths: Eat-in kitchen, back deck. $449,000. Open house Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.

31 Derwent Avenue: 3 beds, 2 1/2 baths. Renovated, front porch. $524,900.

OPEN HOUSES
