There will be a municipal election on Tuesday, May 11, and anyone wishing to run for Town Council can pick up a candidate packet beginning today, Monday, January 4. [UPDATE: Packets must be requested online at https://www.veronanj.org/candidateforms.]
To run, you must have been a resident of Verona for at least one year and be a registered voter here. Three seats will be up for election and each one is four-year term.
You can get a candidate packet by calling the municipal clerk at 973-857-4770. The deadline for submitting a complete candidate packet to be on the ballot is March 5, 2021.
