The prospect of rainy weather on Saturday is forcing the Verona Woman’s Club to postpone “Share Your Light Night” to Sunday, December 13 at 5:00 p.m. This is for both the luminaria display in the center of town and the lighting of lights at home.
“Share Your Light Night” is a joint project with the Verona Juniorettes. The profits from the sale of luminaria bags help the Verona Woman’s Club to provide scholarships to Verona residents graduating from high school, as well as support for local organizations such as the Rescue Squad, the Fire Department, the food pantry at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit and the Verona Children’s Fund.
