Mount Saint Dominic Academy has named Verona’s Jennifer Critchley as head basketball coach. Critchley, who played basketball for Colgate University’s Division I team from 1994 to 1998, has been a youth basketball coach in Essex County for 10 years. She has a 39-3 record and two championships as a Suburban girls coach since 2017 and has also coached the Jersey Cardinals club team.

“I am humbled to have the opportunity to work with the scholar athletes at Mount Saint Dominic Academy,” Critchley said in the announcement. “I have heard about the limitless potential of this team. I look forward to helping these young athletes get as much out of basketball as they possibly can this year and in future seasons. I am very excited to get to work.”

The Lady Lions compete in the Super Essex Conference’s Colonial Division.
