On Wednesday, January 29, from 7:30 to 9 p.m., town officials will be holding a presentation to answer questions about PILOTs, the payments that are being paid in lieu of taxes on the improvements to several existing and planned Verona properties.
The session, which is being led by Benecke Economics, an adviser to Verona on some some of its affordable housing projects, will be held in the ballroom of the Verona Community Center. The program is free and open to the public, and it will be videotaped and posted to the town government’s YouTube page.
There is additional background on Verona’s affordable housing obligations and how it intends to meet them on its website.
