Have the kids outgrown their sports gear? Did they decide the trumpet wasn’t their thing? You can clear out the closets by donating outgrown or gently used sports equipment, athletic uniforms, and musical instruments to a swap meet that will be held at the to the Verona Community Center later this month. The swap meet will not take baby gear this year.

To participate, simply bring the items you are donating to the Community Center gym on Friday, August 23, from 3 to 8 p.m.

Shoppers will be able to shop the swap on Saturday, August 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Prices will range from $1 to $10 per item.

Volunteers are also needed to help with the event. Contact Jen Critchley ([email protected]) or MaryEllen McHugh ([email protected]).

All proceeds from the swap will benefit the Verona Children’s Fund.
