Mr. James Lorenc, 70, died on November 23, 2018 at his home in Verona. Services and entombment will be private. Condolences may be posted to the website of Prout Funeral Home.

Born and raised in Newark, he has lived in Verona for many years.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam.

Mr. Lorenc worked as a maintenance supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service in Parsippany.

He was predeceased by his parents, Bruno and Elissa Lorenc and his sister, Kathleen Lorenc. Mr. Lorenc is survived by his sister Debra Peterson and nephews, Sean, Michael and Alan Peterson.

Donations in his memory to the Verona Rescue Squad, 12 Church Street, Verona, NJ 07044 would be greatly appreciated.
