The Verona High School Baseball team, under the direction of Coach Joseph Phelan, ran a spring break baseball camp for grades 1 – 8. The camp was held indoors due to the inclement weather on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 3 and 4.
After Monday’s snow storm scrambled what should have been its opener, VHS Varsity Baseball will debut its season on Thursday at 4 p.m. in Verona. There is a doubleheader scheduled against Belleville on Saturday, April 7. The JV will play at 9 a.m. and varsity will follow at noon.
