The Verona Police Department has issued a Nixle alert saying that there are downed wires in several areas of down, and that residents should stay away from them. They are specifically asking that residents of Ann Street, Cypress Avenue and Willow Terrace stay inside.
If there is a wire down in your neighborhood, call the VPD. If you are without power, report that to PSEG through its online tool or by calling 800-436-7734.
