Carli Crinion

The Friends of the Verona Public Library are excited to announce that Carli Crinion, longtime library patron and active Verona volunteer, will now lead the organization, now in its 34th year. Members of the community are invited to meet Carli and attend the Friends Annual Election on Thursday, November 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Verona Community Center conference room. Cake and coffee will be served.

Since the Library is under renovation, the Friends are challenged to meet their fundraising goals without their annual book sale fundraisers, which raised over $6,000 for the organization. “This year more than ever, the Friends need your support.” Carli explains. “Please consider joining the Friends and supporting the wonderful programs sponsored by the Friends.”

At the meeting on November 2 the Friends will also preview their winter fundraiser, the now-annual 50/50 holiday raffle. Raffle tickets will only be $5, and the drawing will be held on December 20. Raffle tickets support the Verona Public Library that so many residents visit and enjoy.
