Mrs. Florence A. Oliver, 89, died on July 28, 2016 in Bloomfield. Services will be held in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Monday, August 1 at 11 a.m. Visiting on Monday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Born in East Orange, Mrs. Oliver lived in Verona and Lakewood prior to moving to Bloomfield.
She was a member of the Evening Division of the Verona Woman’s Club and was an avid bowler.
Mrs. Oliver retired from Continental Insurance (CNA) Livingston, but was mostly devoted to caring for her loving family.
She was predeceased by her granddaughter Amanda and her former husband, Robert Oliver.
Mrs. Oliver is survived by her children, Linda Kerr (and her husband, David), Glenn Oliver (and his wife, Susan), George Oliver (and his wife, Nancy) and Donald Oliver (and his wife, Sharon), 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Job Haines Home, 250 Bloomfield Avenue, Bloomfield NJ 07003 would be appreciated.
