The Junior Woman’s Club of Verona will be collecting women’s and children’s pajamas through Monday, May 30. The pajamas will be donated to the Conner M. Holland Foundation, an organization that helps families affected by pediatric cancer. The pajamas given to the Conner M. Holland Foundation will be distributed by the “Conner’s Comfy PJs” program, which has given more than 1,200 pairs of pajamas to children fighting cancer. “Conner’s Comfy PJs” program seeks donations of new pajamas for boys and girls, sizes 2T, 5T-16/17. The Junior Woman’s Club of Verona is a versatile organization that has been involved in social and charitable work since its inception in 1926. The Juniors address Verona’s diverse needs by promoting education, preserving natural resources, encouraging healthy lifestyles, working on behalf of the elderly and people with disabilities, supporting participation in the arts and advocating for issues of concern to women children and families.
