Ali, Paganelli Named Essex County Superior Court Judges

Gavel and Law BooksEarlier this month, the New Jersey Senate approved the nominations of 10 lawyers to Superior Court positions, including two residents of Verona, Mark Ali and James Paganelli.

Ali was an assistant prosecutor in the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office for two decades. Most recently, he has been a board member at two nonprofits focused on preventing domestic violence and child abuse. Paganelli has been Essex County counsel since 2008 and for the last twelve years has also served as executive director of the Essex County Improvement Authority.

Both have been assigned to the Essex County Superior Court’s Family Division.
