LolaSavedStacie Dorting Carr-Dreher wants to share a word of thanks with our readers, and specifically the quick-thinking person in front of Dr. Scriffignano’s office.

“I’d like to thank the stranger (wearing a striped shirt) for blocking my dog Lola from running to Bloomfield Avenue via Grove Avenue after she escaped from my yard,” she wrote us via Facebook. “I didn’t get to thank him because I was in panic mode after seeing the gate was open. So, a great big THANK YOU to him, whomever you are!!!”
