Identity-TheftCaptain Mitchell Stern told the Town Council on Monday night that the Verona Police Department took in more than 75 reports of identity theft in 2014. So on Tuesday, January 13, from 7 to 9 p.m., the VPD will hold a seminar on ways to protect yourself against identity theft and Internet and telephone scams. The seminar will be held in the ballroom at the Verona Community Center.

The seminar is free, but the VPD would like to get an email from you if you plan on attending. Send them a note at [email protected].

If the weather is bad on the 13th, the seminar will be held on Tuesday, January 20.
