MyVeronaNJ-School-Budget-SlideshowTwo words you haven’t heard a lot of in Verona real estate lately: lower prices.

During the depths of the recession, prices on Verona listings would be cut again and again, until they found a willing buyer. Now, homes seem to fly off the real estate Web sites at prices that are at, or slightly above their ask.

We don’t know the reason, but four five homes have had to have their prices lowered this weekend. UPDATE: The seven-bedroom home at 68 South Prospect Street also got a price cut today. That may be enough to compel you to take a second look. If not, there are three new listings and seven open houses.
