If you’re an HBW music student and you’re missing Mr. Michalowski, you can see him perform this weekend over in Little Falls.
The middle school’s band director is going to be in the pit for a teen production of Sweeney Todd, put on by the Passaic Valley Summer Theater. The musical, if you haven’t seen it, centers on a vengeful barber who murders his customers and has them turned into pies. Probably not appropriate for very young theater-goers, but there are some great numbers in the show and Passaic Valley always gets a top-notch cast.
The show runs July 31 to August 2 at 8 p.m. The Passaic Valley Summer Theater is housed at Passaic Valley High School, at 100 East Main Street in Little Falls. There is a huge parking lot behind the school off Browertown Road.
