If your child is interested in playing soccer with Verona United in the fall, he or she must attend the tryouts this Friday, May 31, at the Centennial and Linn Drive fields. Team placement will be complete by June 14.
Teams are divided according to age groups based on age and grade in school.
U8 and U9 Boys and Girls: 3:30 to 4 p.m check-in; 4 to 5:15 p.m tryout. U-8 players are born August 2005 to July 2006, U-9 players are born August 2004 to July 2005. Location: boys and girls – Centennial Field.
U-11 and U-12 Boys and Girls: 5:15 to 5:45 p.m. check-in; 5:45 to 7 p.m. tryout. U-11 players are born August 2002 to July 2003, U-12 players are born August 2001 to July 2002. Location: boys – Centennial Field, girls – Linn Drive.
U-13 and U-14 Boys and Girls: 6:30 to 7 p.m check-in; 7 to 8:30 p.m. tryout. U-13 players are born August 2000 to July 2001, U-14 players are born August 1999 to July 2000. Location: boys – Centennial Field, girls – Linn Drive.
 U-10 Boys and Girls: 8 to 8:30 p.m. check-in; 8:30 to 10 p.m. tryout. U-10 players are born August 2003 to July 2004. Location: boys – Centennial Field, girls – Linn Drive.

All players must wear soccer cleats or gym shoes, shin guards, no jewelry and bring water.
