Library Book Sale Rescheduled

The Friends of the Verona Public Library postponed their annual book sale due to Hurricane Sandy. The sale has been rescheduled and will now kick off on Friday, November 30, with a special preview night exclusively for Friends members from 7 to 8:30 p.m. If you aren’t a member of the Friends, you may join that evening with various membership options to choose ranging from Student at $1, to Individual $5, Family $8, Sustaining $50 and Benefactor $100.

The public sale will be on Saturday, December 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during Fair In The Square. It will continue on Sunday, December 2 from 2 to 4 p.m, Monday, December 3 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, December 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Hard covers are $1 each and paperbacks and all children’s books are $.25. You can finish your holiday shopping by taking advantage of Tuesday’s Bag Sale from noon to 4 p.m. and fill a bag with books for only $1. For additional information, please call the Verona Public Library at 973-857-4848.
