Brookdale Avenue School’s third grade Brownie Troop #22736, in conjunction with St. Clare’s Church on Staten Island, collected donations of supplies to be distributed to the families of Staten Island affected by Hurricane Sandy. The Brookdale troop includes (from left) Shalena Seepaul, Lucy Hogan, Rose Arias, Ashley Duhaney, Wednesday Fischer, Meaghan Haughney, Emma Hogan, Annalie Ying, Eleanor Newman and Emily Strlekar.  It’s a great example of the Brownie promise to “help people at all times” and it is today’s “Verona View”.
